amor

vincit
omnia

hi! ciao! bonjour! szia!

ciao!

Hi there! I’m Rita and I created “AmorVincitOmnia“. Obviously not the original latin saying, but it is my motto indeed. Photography has always been my “calling” for some unknown reason — I should maybe ask my parents who gifted me the first film camera for Christmas in 2008 (or something.)

Even though originally I wanted to be a travel then a sports photographer; I found my perfect spot photographing elopements and lovestories. I’m passionate about capturing the intimate details and powerful emotions that make each love story unique. It’s been an unexpected and wonderful journey so far, and very rewarding too. In the infinite world of 7+ bilion people, fate or karma, or however you want to call it – always puts people on my path that are genuinely awesome and that I immediately bond with. I’m sure we’ll bond, too and have some fun and laughs!

“There is nothing I would not do //
for those who are really my friends.
I have no notion of loving people by halves, //
it is not my nature.”

let’s start from the beginning

get to
know me

I was born in Budapest, Hungary (80’s kid here) and I am very proud of my origins. I grew up in Paris when I was a kid during elementary school, and then in Rome since the late 1990’s. I was a lucky child, I have to admit. We traveled a lot and discovered several cultures which allowed me to have a super open mind and respect for all cultures. Last places my parents lived were Morocco and Vietnam, and I loved to go visit and enjoy different lifestyles. I love to travel : my first trip was to Athens when I was 1 year old – I learnt how to walk there, on the marbles of the Parthenon.

Rome is where I got “stuck”, in some weird but amazing ways 🙂 yes – you got it, I came back for love after a few years in Budapest where in the meantime I studied photography.

I speak fluent Hungarian, French, Italian and people usually say I am quite good in English (you’ll tell me, lol). It makes it sometimes confusing to think but it’s fun!

say hi to miss june

home is where the heart is

my love
my home

Lorenzo – who by the way is an amazing drone pilot – and I have been together for 13 years, and just like in marriages, it has been in good and bad. We have been through a lot together but the strong bond between us always prevailed.
Love conquered everything and defeated the sad and difficult moments. So yeah, I guess I really know what I am talking about.

dpgs are the best

my happy
place

Jam was my Jack Russell and I will always love her to the moon and back! She sadly left us at 15 years old in January 2021. Missing her a lot still and every day <3
Lorenzo and I both adore dogs, they have been a big part of our lives since our childhoods… After 6 months of being “dog-less”, we took in our new pup who just like Jam came as an unexpected surprise from my BFF’s house, Juniper (aka June) a new Jack Russell born May 2021. We love her so much she’s really fun — and so different! Make sure to check out our JCKR apparel inspired by our dogs!

what i can promise

i promise

I am awkward in front of the camera and you can obviously tell by this photo that my friend Arianna took of me. But I love holding my nikon and taking photos, that really makes me happy.

I can promise a few things.
  • I’ll always be honest with you — even if it includes telling you that Trevi Fountain is my least favorite place in Rome for photos;
  • I will be there if you need me to pick something up for you, coz you forgot;
  • I’ll tell you how beautiful and awesome you look on your big day, and I’ll mean it;
  • I’ll support your choices whether it’s keeping traditions or tossing them all out;
  • I probably won’t cry at your wedding or elopement, because you’ll mostly see me (if you see me :P) smile and be happy for you, excited for this special moment.
  • I’ll capture all the family group pictures you’ll ask me to, even though I am not a fan.
I’ll be your rock whenever you need me to.

devil's in the details

some more Random things

Because the only thing that will last from your big day are the memories, and the photographs. This is why choosing the right photographer is fundamental.

I am excited and proud to say that you can find my works featured on these awesome sites
